We collect your email address only when you type it into a form, and we use it only for what that form says. The calculators on this site run entirely in your browser — the figures you type into them are never sent to us. We don't sell, rent or trade personal information, and every email we send has an unsubscribe link.

What we collect

Why we use it
- To send you what you asked for — for example, the itemized deposit statement from the calculator.

- To reply when you write to us.
We don't use your information for any other purpose without asking you first.
Where it is stored
We use service providers to run this site, and some of them store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States. Information held outside Canada is subject to the laws of that country and may be accessible to its courts and authorities.
- Cloudflare hosts the website and handles email sent to mullion.ca addresses.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces on these pages, so your browser contacts Google when a page loads.

Unsubscribing
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, or you can email [email protected] and say "unsubscribe". We act on it within 10 business days, and usually the same day. We keep a note that you unsubscribed so you are not added again by mistake.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until we no longer need it for the purpose you gave it to us for.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within the time Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act allows. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta.
Keeping it safe
We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information, and we limit access to the people who need it. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will notify you and the Information and Privacy Commissioner as the law requires.
The Mullion software
This policy covers this website. When the Mullion property management software launches, information that property managers store in it — about tenants, owners and properties — will be covered by separate terms, because in that case we hold it on the property manager's behalf.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change affects how we use information you have already given us, we will tell you before it takes effect.
